Terms
01) Current backlog and build schedule, with concrete and grading, has this structure being completed approximately 14-16 weeks from date of deposit. Completion schedule is also based on inclement weather (see item 14).
02) This invoice, and your signature, supersedes any verbal commitment.
03) Customer understands that Sturdi Buildings is only committed to doing what is on this invoice.
04) Soil remediation – If permit is pulled then all turned soil has to be seeded and covered in some manner, example: hay. This is a criteria for permit final inspection. The customer can do this to save money, after building completion.
05) Slab, 4" or 6", includes footers, wire, vapor barrier and roll door trays. Unless specified otherwise in this document the slab will be the size indicated by width and length.
06) Slab quote assumes level ground ready to form. Any grading & dirt are extra and will / should be included in a final quote.
07) If Sturdi Buildings erects a structure on an existing slab as instructed by Customer AND Sturdi Buildings was not involved in any way in constructing the slab including digging footers, placing steel / iron reinforcing bar in footers, wire or vapor barrier, or placing roll door trays in slab then Customer understands that Sturdi Buildings IS NOT responsible for any issues arising in the future related to the concrete and/ or slab in any manner.
08) Any architectural engineering, soil engineering or special documents required will be extra.
09) Payment schedule:
- Down payment of 50% of total invoice + permit (if applicable) must be paid at order
- Slab, foundation, dirt & grading paid at slab completion
- Invoice balance MUST be paid at building completion
10) Final payment is NOT contingent on final inspection and is paid directly to the crew at the time of completion.
11) No cancellations or refunds!
12) We are not responsible for rutting your yard due to heavy precipitation. If it's too wet it is your responsibility to let us know. It is also your responsibility to let our crew know where to park on or off your lawn
13) We are not responsible for cracked, broken or rutted drive way(s) due to entry/exit of construction vehicles, tractors, dump trucks, concrete trucks, etc. This includes any and all access points provided by the customer, whether the customer owned or access provided by neighbors.
14) We will do our best to insure a timely delivery based on back log of prior sales. However, inclement weather (heavy precipitation, high heat index, extreme cold) can delay the delivery / building of previous sold structures AND your structure. We ask for your patience during periods of inclement weather.
15) You will void your warranty if your building is repaired by any company other than Sturdi Buildings.
16) By providing your email address you grant Sturdi Buildings permission to send you newsletters via email (you opt-in). You may unsubscribe (opt-out) to this newsletter and/or emails at any time in the future. We DO NOT sell your contact information to third parties.
17) Our primary medium for scheduling deliveries or services is via phone. Caller ID WILL NOT display Sturdi Buildings. Please answer if an unfamiliar number is displayed. At the least, the number(s) you provided on this invoice should have voice mail enabled and room to accept additional messages.
18) Sturdi Buildings may also use SMS messaging to schedule delivery of your structure, or to schedule appointments for site visits, or to remind you of payments. By signing below you grant Sturdi Buildings permission to send SMS messages to your mobile device (you opt-in). You may opt-out / unsubscribe at any time. Message frequency varies per user.
